Which is the better manner to save the seeds of bean of ricin?I saved a bucket a lot of the pods two years ago and when I tried to push them absolutely NO no grew and I had the purchase more of a store of garden. Their germination was only about 25% but at least someone grew. Do not import that having the better luck?
GOOD DAY, They have a low rate of germination to the better one of time. Please to be conscious that they are plant TRES of the dangerous ones. 6000 more toxic time than the cyanide.
The seed of ricin is the source of oil of ricin, that has a big variety of usages. The seeds contain between 40% and 60% oil that is rich in the triglycedrides, principally ricinolein. The seed coat contains ricin, a toxin, that is so present in the lower concentrations through plants it.
Good luck
Wendy

Aren't beans of toxic ricin? To watch out how you check and liquidate them.
